Basic Requirements
  1. Hold a bachelor's degree from a domestic or international university recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in a health-related field, life sciences, natural sciences, or humanities and social sciences. Diplomas from foreign institutions must be verified by a Republic of China (R.O.C.) overseas mission. OR Hold a medical doctor (MD) degree.
  2. A minimum GPA of B or 3.0
  3. Minimum English proficiency requirement:
    Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing skills with CEFR B1 or above is preferred or alternatively, a school-issued document stating that any of the applicant's previous degree programs were conducted in English.

    We are committed to cultivating medical education professionals with a global perspective by encouraging cross-cultural learning, and developing localized medical curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment models tailored to the diverse social and cultural backgrounds of Asian and other countries.
    •   Integrating Interdisciplinary Professional Resources:
    By bringing together a diverse faculty and international academic resources, we promote innovation and reform in medical education through systematic curriculum planning and English-Medium Instruction (EMI) to address healthcare education needs across different countries and regions.
    •   Promoting International Academic Collaboration:
    Collaborating with sister schools to establish joint-degree health education programs, thereby enhancing students’ international learning and research capacity and broadening their global perspectives in medical education.
  3. Future Prospects:
    Graduates are well-equipped to pursue careers as teaching attending physicians at medical centers or teaching hospitals. Alternatively, graduates can consider careers as healthcare-related professional educators in medical institutions worldwide, helping to drive medical education reform and enhance clinical teaching practices.
