Basic Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in chemistry or related life sciences and natural sciences from a local or foreign university which is recognized by M.O.E.
  2. A master's degree (in Chemistry/Natural Science /Life Sciences)
  3. A minimum GPA of B or 3.0
  4. Minimum English proficiency requirement:
    CEFR B1 or above, or alternatively, a school-issued document stating that any of the applicant's previous degree programs were conducted in English

  4. One of the two required recommendation letters must be written by the supervisor or head of the department.
  5. Potential Adviser Agreement Form (as Appendix 6)
  6. Applicants whose native/official language is not English must provide official proof of English proficiency. Acceptable documentation includes a certificate demonstrating English proficiency at CEFR level B1 or above, or official test scores such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, CAE, or CPE, etc. All test scores must have been obtained within two years prior to the submission of the application.

  1. Official interview will be conducted via telephone or online interview.
  2. Requirements for graduation please refer to the program's website.
  3. Students must provide at least one English Proficiency pass test score before their PhD dissertation exam.
  4. Applicants are required to contact with prospective adviser of the College of Life Sciences prior to the application deadline, and to have the form signed and submitted for confirmation.
