   CEFR B1, i.e. TOCFL Level 3, or holding an equivalent certificate

1. A Bachelor's degree in life sciences, and natural sciences from a local or foreign university recognized by M.O.E. Taiwan.
2. Minimum English proficiency requirement:
   CEFR B1 or above, or alternatively, a school-issued document stating that any of the applicant's previous degree programs were conducted in English

1. Autobiography
2. Research proposal
3. Related academic publications

Applicants with Chinese communication ability are preferred:
（1）Have passed TOCFL at CEFR B1, i.e. level 3 or higher, or other equivalent certificates.
（2）A letter of recommendation to certify that the candidates are equipped with enough Chinese proficiency to attend the lectures taught in Chinese.
